Seems to me you can vote for the amendment and not for the bill in general. Say for instance, and amendment nullified the overreach in the main bill. These Republicans could have avoided the controversy and pain in the bunz by voting for the amendment.

Re Celebrity deaths:
I also wonder about them. There is the “28 Club” death group...maybe they are sacrificed at that age for a specific reason. If I extrapolate, I believe there is a group of poor babies bred and raised to be expendable entertainers. They entertain us, and are heavily promoted, and are very successful. But the vast majority of them can be sacrificed at any time it pleases the caba| in various ways. Overdosed, helicopter accidents, car accidents, etc. I think this also explains the meteoric rise of young entertainers. They are made successful and, if sacrificed, the sacrifice is “greater.” (Kobe and his virgin daughter)
I watched a YouTube video of a Belgian woman whose mother gave her to the €lites when she was six. She was an expendable and saw many in her group be murdered.
I also think, from time to time, an entertainer is kept in line by the sacrifice of a family member (DeNiro’s grandson) and it sends a message to all the expendables, as well.
