The Khazars were a Turkic people whose kingdom dissolved around the middle of the tenth century following an attack by a Russian warlord, according to Lawrence Reed of the Foundation for Economic Education. By 1250, the Mongols ruled the region, the Russians were their vassals, and Khazars were long gone. I don't know of any Bolshevik who was descended from them.
