I wonder if he didn’t understand the question. This really must have been the dumbest answer in all of Presidential History.
I believe his dumb answer will contaminate other politicians that support the Ukraine effort. People will be remembering the establishment’s stance “not my concern.”

I agree with you in principled but the reality is as long as he’s in the GOP the quid pro quo (for what he wrongly believes to be party support) will be letting the party send him their choices of useless, corrupt candidates. I doubt that the quality of his picks will be much different than they were before. JMHO
Mike’s natural facial expression seems to be one who looks “inscrutable”, to use dated term.

Nice try but NOPE! Everyone but Pence understood what Tucker was asking. It wasn’t even a gotcha moment til Pence laundered it into one. Very straightforward question. Why are we sending massive amounts of money with promises of no end in sight when our country is falling apart. Pretty much anything but that’s not my concern could have answered that. Pence turned it into a career killer all by himself.
His condescending “ thanks for noticing” just before “that’s not my concern” and his equating the question to a “routine” show just how angry he is at even a whiff of genuine accountability. Good riddance!

Simple answer, for a measly 100 billion last year out of our total US budget of 6.6 trillion we have decimated the military of our regional rival, Russia.

He also called Trump his “former running mate,” which made it sound like Pence was the previous POTUS.
