Why can’t they be what they are? We send spacecraft
throughout our universe why couldn’t someone or something else do the same?

We’ve barely got out of solar system. It would be hundreds if not thousands of years to get beyond our galaxy.

The Voyager 1 spacecraft (launched 1977) finally left our our solar system. It would take 75,000 years to get to the closet star. Even a theoretical advanced nuclear ship would take 19,000 years.

But yes - I leave open the possibilities that there are other life forms in the universe. I also leave open the possibility that they visit here on earth, but the more I learn the more doubtful I become of that. The distances and time required are so great.

Although if they have already existed for a million years and have learned that entire time, maybe they have discovered actual wormholes (they are a mathematical possibility, but not ever observed) or whatever to be able to travel. But I doubt it.
