I am no fan of royalty. But Elizabeth II has my admiration. She served in WW 2 and she gracefully represented Britain, a Britain that was once a great nation.

I will fault her for not forcefully speaking up against the corrosive third-world immigration that will eventually destroy the UK. But who knows? Maybe she did, and the politicians ignored her.

Anyway, here she is in uniform. As heir to the throne, she could have hid in Bermuda or in Canada. But she didn’t.

I agree that it's all BS. And the Monarchy is elitist. But I say this as an American.

Queen Elizabeth II was the Head of the State. An unifying figure.

Here in USA, our President is the Head of the State. Sometimes that's not a good thing. If we had a king, everyone would look up to the king and we would have that in common.
