Melian asked, "I ask myself, why NOW? (or why many of us are easily triggered into arguments over relatively small issues?)"
My short answer: Frustration. We know our elections are broken. (Which is the bases of our system. Our system can not function without it. I explained how they're broken intentionally. Which is criminal)

little jeremiah: said, "SVD - your response bears no relevance to Melian’s comment. If there is a connection, can you explain? She was discussing thread disruption, you replied about election fraud. ???"

I would like you little jeremiah. To ignore my argument on my belief of the root cause of the Frustration. Which could be debatable.
I would like you to explain to us how frustration can cause tension within our community.
In advance: Thank you for your logical thought out answer.

I asked Cletus.D.Yokel and ransomnote to this post to observe.
No other reason and I'm asking you both not to respond.
Thank you

I don’t see frustration as a viable reason for disruptive or rude behavior on this thread (or in RL either). We are all frustrated by the stolen election and all that has occurred because of it. Everyone here, and millions of Americans, are extremely frustrated because of the stolen election, and have little to no trust that elections are honest. They aren’t, and most states have not fixed them.

“Acting out” or trying to disrupt the thread, insulting others, and the like, are not sane or adult methods if dealing with this frustration. All the more reason to behave in a courteous manner.
