Here is the original posting; I have most if not all of the 1000 reply thread but obviously I won't re-post that. My post is dated Sunday, December 13 but the Conan O'Brien show was Friday, December 11. You will see that Baldwin's publicity guy said that it was a comedy show and people were making too much of the whole matter. Rep. Henry Hyde said that he was not amused. Hollywood and the MSM are utter human trash!

During the show Late Night With Conan O'Brien' on NBC-TV Friday night/Saturday morning, Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin became very agitated about the House Judiciary impeachment hearings.
At one point he leaped from his chair, obviously very exercised.
''We should go to Washington and stone Henry Hyde to death.'' [Crowd cheers...] ''And then we should go to his house and kill his family!" [paraphrased]
Now folks... this show doesn't air 'live'. NBC had adequate opportunity to delete this part of the show or take measures to preserve common decency. They chose to leave the comments intact for 'air'.
I have sent e-mails to NBC, Drudge, Congr. Hyde, Congr. Barr and [my congressman] Rep. McCollum and demanded that they obtain a tape copy of this show.
I urge all Freepers to contact your local media and your congresspeople and let's make NBC take their medicine for this barbaric travesty!!!

As reports circulating the Internet have asserted {Free Republic!}, on Friday’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien on NBC actor Alec Baldwin jumped from his chair to scream "We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children!"

Here’s the exchange as transcribed by MRC news analyst Paul Smith.
Conan O’Brien: "Before we leave, I gotta ask you. It’s no secret that you are very political. You are a very political person. It’s no secret that you have actually had some associations with the Clintons. That you’re a liberal man and I thought, you know today, this is a historic day and you’re one of the most politically active actors out there. What do you think?"
Alec Baldwin: "I was in Africa. I go to Africa. I mean ladies and gentlemen I am in Africa. For three months I am in the bush and I come back. I come back here and I come back to what? I mean what is happening right now as we speak?
Right now the Judiciary Committee, the President has an approval rating of 68 percent. The President is very popular and things are going pretty good and they are voting to impeach the President. They voted on one article of impeachment already.
And I come back from Africa to stained dresses and cigars and this and impeachment. I am thinking to myself in other countries they are laughing at us twenty four hours a day and I’m thinking to myself if we were in other countries, we would all right now, all of us together, [starts to shout] all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death! [crowd cheers]
Wait! Shut up! Shut up! No shut up! I’m not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families. [stands up screaming] What is happening in this country? What is happening? UGHHH UGHHH!!!!"

Clubbing is frowned upon. And asking a mob to kill the family of someone with whom you disagree is bad manners. That would be, well, drooling reactionary extremism of the worst order.
Unless you are the darling celebrity actor of the political Left, Alec Baldwin, who is famous because he's married to the gorgeous Kim Basinger.

Paul Harvey had this report on his radio show yesterday and today.
Alec Baldwin appeared on the television Connen {sic} show recently. It's important enough to have it appear at least twice on his [Paul Harvey's] national radio show.
Alec Baldwin tired of Clinton having impeachment problems, said "It was time for people to take things in their own hands. They should stone Henry Hyde to death, and then kill his children. After that go after the Congressman who voted for impeachment and stone them to death."
Sounds like 1917 in Russia, unfortunately it's part of the Hollywood scene who have no morals ... but want to kill instead of talk.

Rep. Henry J. Hyde was not amused by actor Alec Baldwin's rant on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" that the Illinois Republican and his family should be stoned to death.
"I'm sickened by it," the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee told the Chicago Tribune. "To kill my family because you disagree with me? To laugh about that? There are people out there, sick people, just waiting for a push."
While chairing the committee's recent impeachment inquiry, Mr. Hyde received several death threats, requiring him to retain armed guards. He was astonished that Mr. Baldwin -- star of "The Hunt for Red October" and other films -- "wants my family stoned to death by a mob. Imagine if a Republican said such a thing. I don't find the humor in it."
A spokesman for Mr. Baldwin said, "They ought to lighten up; it's a comedy show." To which Mr. Hyde replied: "Excuse me for not laughing."

Obviously the dual standard was in full force in 1998; the MSM would justify murder and killing as a political tool - but only for them.

Baldwin was fully rehabilitated by Hollywood and returned to super star status. Conservative actors have not been so fortunate. Baldwin has taken his super rotten ego and proved his true metal by shooting people himself... Of course nothing will come of it. Besides, Demo'Rats are establishing a solid reputation for supporting rioting and mass murder - Marxism!
