National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan hinted Friday that the cocaine could have come from construction workers, as the area of the White House where it was found is being renovated. Sullivan was asked at Friday's press briefing if he had any national security concerns after a bag of the drug was found Sunday near the Situation Room. revealed that the coke's proximity to the Situation Room wasn't a problem, because the space hasn't been in use. 'I would make a point about the Situation Room because I think there's been a lot questionable reporting on this. The Situation Room is not in use and has not been in use for months because it is currently under construction,' Sullivan said. 'We are using an alternative Situation Room in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, so the only people coming in and going out of the Sit Room in this period have been workers who are getting it ready to go,' he added.

Who found the cocaine?
How did that information become public?

Yeah sure....what were we thinking. I knew all along it had nothing to do with Hunter.

I thought they could come up with a 'fall guy'... but it never occurred to me it would be an anonymous construction worker... Guess the Secret Service doesn't keep track of laborers working in the White House. /s

I worked as a pharmacist at the VA. We had random drug tests. I was tested twice in 26 years. As we all had access to controlled drugs this was important. You would be a fool to use drugs as a pharmacy employee. You will get caught.

Actually those tests are not always random. If you boss is suspicious he will call up lab and surprise surprise, you get a random drug test.

As many or most here on Free Republic have mentioned or alluded to, that particular little turd will continue rolling downhill until they can either find some poor sod way way way down the food chain to blame OR the right political fall guy or fallvp.
But we shall see
