I know a guy who went to work for what was Northwest Airlines as a baggage handler after he got out of high school in 1994. Almost 30 years later he’s now working for Delta, but pulling in close to a six digit salary because of his time, and the unions.
I also threw bags for a time, never witnessed anybody rifling through people’s bags myself, but I have seen a mand taking those little bottle of liquor off the aircraft on more than one occasion.
