Do they auto-administer as protocol when a person is unresponsive? They did that to my step-dad when he passed out.
If they don’t know why a patient is out...they give it.They also can give glucose,or a benzodiazepine antagonist, if they suspect low glucose, or benzo OD.. respectively.
Naloxone is sometimes used to increase blood pressure in patients unresponsive to other measures for raising bp in septic shock.Unreliable results...but worth a try. She musta’ been real sick..
