He's an organized addict...it's a manageable part of his life.
And you can bet that his dealers know who's boss.
Frankly, I'm surprised he is still above ground. The fact that he's still breathing tells us that he has some control over his addiction. I'm not saying that he's not a full-blown addict. Just that he has worked his usage into his daily life.
Most full-blown addicts are in crack houses, either in a zombie-like high or crashed in their own vomit.
