All the more reason for the DOJ to ramp up more indictments against Trump, so that the media can obsess over Trump and pay as little attention as possible to the Biden scandals. If the public is unaware of the scandals maybe Biden can serve out his term. But possibly the party may decide to run someone else for President in 2024.

The Watergate break-in took place on June 17, 1972, months before the election, but got very little attention until after the election. That Nixon's opponent was McGovern may have had an influence on the media's ignoring Watergate until later. The Watergate break-in was for a wiretap for political reasons--a trivial offense compared to the Biden crimes. But the media will do its best to ignore or downplay the scandal until after the election because the alternative is too horrible to contemplate--Trump being elected again.
