What and who is behind this absurdity being forced on everyone, and why? What is the goal?
It is the grandchildren of the Communist Party USA from the 30’s and 40’s. Their purpose is to destroy all social norms and all sources of authority except the Party. The individuals they use to advance their cause in this case are the same kind of lost, confused people with a vague sense that something is wrong who are selected for exploitation by pseudo-religious cults. They are encouraged to be completely self-absorbed, and to blame their “alienation” on the intolerance of Society.
