I was just there in June. I hope they punish him a LOT, the girlfriend and the one who took the video. The guy was a real idiot in many ways - and not knowing the age of the building isn’t an excuse, especially since there’s a big display on the history of the building as you enter.
Yeah. I kind of figured there would be. What a hypocrite. No, he visited the colosseum with it’s bricks crumbling figuring there was going to be a wresting max there next week. Right.
England is fascinated by the Romans who settled England but somehow this guy who visited a tourist site for the Romans, who is English, and the site is preserved as being ancient and historical, knew nothing about it’s being aged. He not only defamed a site but showed his non-regret by lying about his action.
