Thanks for your kind words. Very disappointing, especially as she takes such pleasure and pride in her garden. We’ll see what can be saved. Fortunately she had pulled all of the garlic a couple of weeks ago. Not elephant garlic, but huge, beautiful bulbs.
Usually it’s lack of rain come July and August, so they have irrigation set up with a giant nearby pond. Nothing to help, though, with this amount of rain. Others have far worse to deal with during this bout of storms, so it’s onward and upward.
