I don’t think a LEO would come out for a dog nuisance call here.
We had renters across the street who had 3 mean dogs.
One bit my husband when he went over to welcome them to the neighborhood.
All 3 of them got out and chased me from my mailbox in my own yard.
If I had had a gun available, I would have shot them.
Another neighbor was taking care of the dogs while the owners went to Hawaii, she had to keep two of the dogs separated from the 3rd because they had tried to kill it, they bit her, got out and bit another neighbor who was trying to help catch them.
We all called our town Sheriff’s office who just logged it down but did nothing.
We did, however, get the landlord to tell them one more time and they would be moving, not to long after that another incident happened and he served them eviction papers.
They barked non-stop too.
About a month later there was a knock on our door.
It was an FIB agent who was investigating our complaints on our former neighbor, who had a government job on the Reservation, was up for promotion and all our complaints by several neighbors looked like it would stop the promotion.
He asked for names and addresses of other neighbors that he could talk to, we were more than happy to supply these names.
Don’t know if he ever got his promotion but maybe he made his wife get rid of those 3 evil vicious dogs.
