I’m back!
Well, that was fun, got to listen to every dog in the neighborhood barking their heads off and going crazy.
Can’t understand why peeps let their dogs continue to bark.
We never did.
I bet they woke up a few that won’t be very happy.
As I texted CB, another good reason to have cats.😁
Was nice texting back and forth with you, CB.
Didn’t feel like I was walking just by myself.
Hope you and Cooper enjoyed your walk.
We did enjoy it, thanks for getting us out there. I wouldn’t have done it otherwise.
I missed the turn on the way back, good thing I brought my guide dog! He is actually super good at hiking. Everything looks different, all that vegetation grew even more from the last time we were out.
Oh yes dogs barking, that’s why we moved from the other house. It can be extremely annoying. You can actually teach dogs not to bark, Cooper understands “no bark”. And then when he forgets or it’s too excited to listen to me, he really understands when I yell “shut up”. He taught himself that one.
Great job!
One time a dog wandered onto our property, sat down on our front step, and stayed there. It was an older dog and that appeared to have been taken care of.
I sat some food and water out for her, as well as a blanket to lay on and went to bed thinking she’d return to her owners.
Around 2 o’clock there was a knock on the door. It was a policeman who told us the neighbor had called in a complaint that “our” dog was barking and that they were unable to go to sleep.
I told him, “That is not my dog.”
There was an awkward silence, then the policeman asked, “Could you put the dog in the garage until morning?”
He came back early the next day and took the dog to the animal shelter.
