Yes agree!

I saw and knew many people that worked at Sears and we all grew up with!

Sad day when so many I knew lost their jobs when they closed down.

I've been in retail now 16 years straight, not counting my time when I was young before children! I knew then it was the beginning of change and not a good way when Sears closed! Now we have next to Dillards a discount store called Cheapos! It's like a Ollies or a Huge Dollar Store!

I worked at Sears for a while before I married. I have a Sears stove top. It seems they went down hill when they merged with KMart. KMart had a horrible record of letting people go who had worked for them for many years and close to retirement.

I've worked at the US Census Bureau several times.

And a company for 15 that make connectors. They were a small company when I started there and when I left they are big world wide. They turn down work if they are making too much of a percentage for someone. They told us it was insurance to not make parts for only a few companies. That way if any go under we wouldn't hurt for needing their business. Smart people run this company.
