My first decent car was 1973 was a 68 cougar $1,500, super smooth and quiet running, my first car a 63 Comet, was cheap but expensive, if you know what I mean.

In 1975, my second car was a 1967 Cougar XR-7. Light yellow with black vinyl roof.
Loved the vacuum operated headlights.
