The reason Michigan AG Dana Nessel is charging the dueling slate of electors from 2020 is simple. The timing is no coincidence. She could have done this months ago, but waited until Jack Smith was ready to indict Trump.

In a matter of days, Jack Smith is going to be alleging that Trump was part of a criminal conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election. A major part of Jack Smith’s case is that “Trump conspired with Rudy Giuliani to pressure Republicans into sending an alternate slate of electors in each of the swing states.”

The deep state believes it will be easier to sway a grand jury against Trump if state prosecutors separately bring charges on Trump’s “co-conspirators”. Dana Nessel received her marching orders. Plain and simple.
