I’m feeling really stupid now. I picked a profile picture, all that’s left is a header, describe myself, and where do I live. Would it happened to be in any of those?

“Edit profile” is at the top RIGHT side of your profile page, under the background picture you put at the top.
Maybe you have to finish your profile and then go back to edit it to change your name.
