CAN DAVID DEFEAT GOLIATH? The question was asked, the answer was given – once again. Mission Impossible (Paramount Pictures) opened to $3,832 Avg., Indiana Jones (Disney) opened to $5,148 Avg., Sound of Freedom (Independent/Angel Studios) opened to $5,407 Avg. This means that people are sending a clear message in favor of what truly matters. Sound of Freedom is still dominating over Disney’s movie (despite being in half the theaters). The backstory to this is that Disney once owned Sound of Freedom after acquiring 21st Century Fox and completely shelved it for it to never be seen. Eventually, Disney was made to release the rights for a number of different reasons which were later acquired by Angel Studios. Here we are today. With God all things are possible.
