UKRAINE NOW INTO NATO?

This NATO summit can change the war.
Only recently Duda met the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj (45). The Ukrainian hopes “that it will work to get a clear signal” from NATO - “a light in the tunnel”. This is important “to maintain the morale of the soldiers and society”.
Duda sees it the same way: “It is in Poland’s interest that Ukraine joins NATO as quickly as possible.” She has “a strong army with a lot of experience”.
The most important question: Can war-torn Ukraine join NATO? The alliance is divided. Chancellor Olaf Scholz (65, SPD) walled, the Eastern European countries are putting pressure on.
President Duda (Polands President)makes it clear: “Then the other allied states would have to help defend Ukraine. Then there would be war.”

I am so confused, does Duda WANT WWIII with Russia?
I thought Poland was trying to avoid that.
