Cletus, that looks like “ops normal” to me. The drone apparently launched out of NAS Fallon and in its position over the almost uninhabited high desert near the Fallon range complex, is probably being used in conjunction with routine carrier air wing training.
Not just NAS Fallon but Hawthorne Naval Ammo Depot is nearby. Reserve Marines love to summer camp there because they get to shoot every thing they own. And the Marines love them some air superiority cover so that’s a piece of high desert that gets used a lot. And, oh, by the way, Reno/Tahoe is a great place to take a break.
