Not my Iphone-—don’t have one. Don’t care. My stuff is hard wired all the way. All my trucks had a Tracfone for emergency use but the 5G conversion knocked them all out. My trucks all still have a rifle tho so the current signal system in emergencies is to just get off a shot. Somebody will hear it.
Not interested in brain tumors from plugging a microwave radiation source into my head and bleeping sure not interested in financing Apple, Verizon, ATT, and any of their techie friends. Not a Ludite. My shop is full of really neat , capable computer driven gear but it is all free-standing. Can’t be corrupted by anything outside the building. In the early days of cell phones I kept a hatchet laying on the shop counter and visitors knew I would use it on their phones if they couldn’t park it while in the shop.
And my all time pet peeve is a caller who says “who is this?” Sorry you got me started. That secret menu will remain undiscovered here.
Me too.
However, I heard over the weekend of a grocery store in Canada where you have to let a machine scan a QR code on your phone in order to be allowed in.
I suspected it all along: one will need a smart phone to buy or sell. Harmless... only preparing folks for the mark of the beast.
I always say; "How would I know? I can't see you".
