The following is the complete text of an email received by Rasmussen Reports this morning:
My name is Elliott Morris,
(snip)
I am emailing you to send a final notice that FiveThirtyEight is considering formally banning Rasmussen Reports from its coverage. Such a ban would result in being removed from listing on our main polls page and being excluded from all of our aggregation and election forecasting models. If banned, Rasmussen Reports would also be removed from our historical averages of polls and from our pollster ratings. Your surveys would no longer appear in reporting and we would write an article explaining our reasons for the ban.
A pollster at Rasmussen Reports (preferably you) needs to reply to this email with satisfactory comments in order to avoid the ban. To be sure, response alone is not guaranteed to end in the avoidance of a ban; our concerns run much deeper than simple failure to reply to methodological queries â which, for what it's worth, is itself grounds for a ban, and on which we have already given Rasmussen substantial leeway.
First, Rasmussen must explain the nature of its relationship with several right-leaning blogs and online media outlets, which have given us reason to doubt the ethical operation of the polling firm. please tell us whether questions are ever suggested to Rasmussen from these outlets, including Fox News and "Steve Bannon's War Room", where Rasmussen's head pollster regularly appears, with the promise of coverage in return for "public" fieldwork? Do Rasmussen's pollsters work with anyone from these organizations on topics to consider polling, despite listing polls as un-sponsored or sponsored by other groups? Does the pollster have a close personal relationship with any of these figures that might cloud their judgement in the operation of a public poll?

That ABC is making threats tells a lot. And I doubt any response would be deemed 'satisfactory'.
Likely this is Disney / lgbt wing of ABC — manipulating what is presented to their TV audience. No 1st amendment in this outfit.
Tell ABC to take a long walk on a short pier!
What is a five thirty eight?
Imagine if they sent the same letter only switching right-leaning blogs/media outlets to left-leaning blogs/media outlets....
To other liberal polling groups, that is...
538 is the worst
Rasmussen has been consistent and fairly accurate on their polls for years
It competes with RealClearPolitics, but adds probabilities to the poll results (like I used to do here).
The name FiveThirtyEight refers to the size of Congress.

Bet they didn’t send any questionnaires demanding explanation for affiliation with left wing outlets. Gleichschaltung continues apace.
Scott Rassmussen left Rasmussen Reports in 2013 over disputes with his investors.
-PJ
Rasmussen should mark a big X on his ass so 538 knows exactly where to kiss it.
ABC is one of the enemedia giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.
Knock off Hulu and abc tv, ESPN and Disney.

The same sort of questions could be put to ABC:
First, ABC must explain the nature of its relationship with several Left-leaning blogs and online media outlets, which give us reason to doubt the ethical operation of its polling operations. ABC must tell us whether questions are ever suggested to ABC from these outlets, including PBS, SPLC, Politico, Media Matters, the DNC and others. And does ABC promise coverage to such outfits in return for "public" fieldwork? Do ABC employees work with anyone from these organizations on topics to consider polling, despite listing polls as un-sponsored or sponsored by other groups? Do any ABC employees have a close personal relationship with any of these outfits, that might cloud their judgement in the operation of a public poll?

ABC Fake News
Bahahaha
Who cares what they think about anything
FWIW, there are actually 441 members of the house, 6 of which are non-voting (DC, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, FNM, Guam, American Samoa).
There are 435 members of the House plus 100 members of the Senate = 535. The three EV from DC makes it 538, so you are technically correct.

The uber-left is loosing it....
They are loosing the gay war, Biden is cratering and Americans are finally waking up.
Obviously, the Political Left despises Rasmussen since Rasmoo does a much better job of polling the Political Right than all the other polls.
