I'm now 75 and I have never seen nor heard of multiple wild fires in Canada flowing northeast and causing as much havoc as Covid 19.
Why has no one proposed the theory that invaders from the north never crossed over, but brought air travel to a halt just by being firebugs?

I am 68 and live in northern Illinois, I have never seen anything like this. The only thing I can think of that may have been as bad is when Mt St Helens blew...folks downwind had quite a bit of ash if I remember right.
I am having to stay indoors as this really has affected my lungs. It’s a scary feeling to go outside and within an hour feel like you are suffocating a bit.
I have heard that we are getting relief tonight as the wind changes blowing north clearing out the smoke...I pray that is true.
I cannot help but wonder if all those fires were set. I have seen supposed satellite video of a bunch of them over a large area, starting at the same time...very suspicious.
Last summer here in my Boston suburb we had thick orange smoke for a few days from fires coming all the way from california..
Forgive if someone already posted this, but this link displays a current map of areas where the smoke hits the hardest. I am in upstate NY, so I check this site daily.
I never used to see myself as a conspiracy theorist, but the past three or four years have changed that.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if those fires were deliberately set to push the left’s dangerous and destructive agenda. The same with a lot of those fires on the west coast over the past couple of years.
There are some very evil people out there and some of them have attained a lot of power.
What’s more, such wildfires have been decreased in CA in recent years.
(As if Freepers didn’t already know this was not a natural phenomenon.)
I think the Canadian authorities have said that the majority of the fires have been intentionally set.

One would think that Trudeau would be addressing this fire and what they are doing, if anything, to put it out.
Consider how a single large forest fire from perfectly natural causes dumps more of the dreaded CO2 into the atmosphere than could be saved by using scores of windmills to generate electricity or smugly driving EVs.
I live west of Cleveland and it has gotten bad this week. We had a couple of heavy thunderstorms here last weekend, and the smoke got mixed up with the resulting water vapor to make a depressing view outside my house, even though it was supposedly cloudless.
I saw a map that shows the only extreme fire danger within 500 miles of here around James Bay, which sticks down from Hudson’s Bay between northeast Ontario and northwest Quebec. Apparently the fire danger in Nova Scotia has abated.

What’s different this year are the persistent north winds. Weather.
