Actually, the video of the salvaged debris tells us quite a bit: the titanium end bell and the locking ring are not distorted and the viewing window looks intact. The carbon fiber cylinder collapsed.
I can’t see the plexi window. It looks like it’s missing to me. Apparently it was only rated for ~1,000 meters.If so, that’s just nuts.
