Perhaps it’s not a question of monetary loss but self-esteem. Are you going to let some lowlife punk walk all over you because he can? Where do YOU draw the line?
You know, the old “look at yourself in the mirror” thing.
On that level, understandable. Wise in hindsight? Perhaps not.
