London cops allowed guns? Or just a warm bowl of bubble and squeak for defense?
I’m sure the cops assumed he had no gun. After, all England has strict gun control laws. No need to frisk someone.
Generally most PCs on regular patrol are still unarmed. There are armed police on tour everyday who respond to emergencies (ie terror threats and mass casualty incidents)
