The next year, we still didn't have a LensCrafters and my eye exam indicated a need to change prescription. I called the LensCrafters store and they indicated they would be open at the time I could arrive (2 hour drive). When I went to the store address I had visited the prior year, I found an abandoned shopping mall. WTF? I called the store. They provided me their new address. What happened? Gang activity at the mall was bad and the spineless police department refused to deal with it. Merchants abandoned the mall including LensCrafters.
Well, internet shopping has been killing brick and mortar stores and malls all across America, even before Covid lockdowns supercharged the changes. She is not entirely wrong about that.
And she is also correct that soccer is very popular with the new replacement “Americans” the Democrats are bringing in as fast as they can. Maybe another 15 million new soccer fans before 2024 elections? A lot more soccer stadiums will be need.
I could wish she is wrong, but the evidence is on her side. Anyone who can’t see it may well be one of those being replaced.

San Fran was a great designation. I was in training there 6 weeks in 1976. My first trip was 74 and it was great. It remains in a beautiful location but spoiled by animals and the politicians without balls.My daughter moved there and worked for Nordstroms till she moved south. Been there dozens of times.
However I remember in the 80s an aggressive bum getting in my face. I started toward him and my girlfriend pulled me back. I would have unholstered but wasn’t carrying thst day. (retired peace officers can carry concealed in Cal if they re-qualify every 90 days).
There was a time when SF gave out free meals at shelters and tourists could get the coupon and give them out instead of cash. The bums rejected the coupons.
That aggressiveness has been getting worse for 35 years and the city does nothing.
Tourist tip. Don’t go. If you do, stay out of the Feces District.

1. westfield hasn’t been abandoned (yet), merely changing operators ... though, actual abandonment by retailers is likely to eventually occur ...
2. shopping at westfield and the market street/union square area was mainly for tourists and conventioneers visiting the area, so online shopping is irrelevant ...
3. the convention center, hotels, and surrounding shopping districts are strongly symbiotic, and all will either thrive together or collapse together, and it’s pretty clear it’s gonna be collapse ...
