A black college graduate ripped the microphone out of a white administrator's hand after she cut her off during her commencement speech and footage of the incident has sparked strong reaction online.
Kadia Iman was seen in a TikTok video wrestling a microphone out of white lecturer's hand while graduates stood in line to receive their diplomas at an unidentified school.
'I want the mic,' Iman can be heard yelling at the educator as she aggressively tugged the electronic from her. 'Let go. You didn't let me get my moment.'
Each student was given the opportunity to say their name, major, and a few small things about themselves as they traveled toward the stage, the influencer and Only Fans star admitted in a separate TikTok video. But as she and other black students got the chance to speak, she said she noticed the woman 'pulling the mic down super fast for some black people.'
Iman went to 'reclaim' her moment and told the crowd her full name.
'I don't like how you snatched the mic out of my hand and today is going to be all about me,' she told the administrator before throwing the microphone forcibly onto the ground and walking away.
'I don’t want to be that person, but that was the tea. So, I just couldn’t let her, I just couldn’t let that happen because I worked so hard to graduate, went through so much s**t to graduate, that I just felt like I needed to reclaim my moment,' she said.
'I'm not a problematic person, I don't want to ruin no one's day. I don't want to violate anybody, but that's what she did.'

She learned NOTHING.
A black college graduate ripped the microphone out of a white administrator’s hand.
Must have thought she was at McDonalds.
Our graduations are held in stadiums and coliseums so there no opportunity for numskullery.
These creatures get useless “studies” degrees simply for showing up. She is on her way to a government agency or HR department where she will make life miserable for everyone who has to deal with her.
I got an engineering degree. I actually had to study and perform. All she had to do was recite “I am a victim” for four years.
What ever happened to simply have one person read the graduate’s name while another person hands over the diploma and shakes the graduate’s hand? It’s worked at every school graduation for decades. Why change it?
she posted a comment that as a black woman she is “always right”?
Got news for her, she didn’t learn anything of true importance yet in all her years, but hopefully she will learn before it’s too late.
