This is very much memory-rich, Foldy. I was born midst WWII, spent the first three years of my life in an orphanage. Maybe that motivated me to keep pushing ahead {for better or worse. 🤷♂️}
1943 was the year when they made pennies of steel/zinc instead of copper; the few coppers minted by chance became valuable. I had one but my mother lost it; it turned up in the news here in Orlando a few years later; oh well. I have had a very full life and many rewards (+ disappointments.) No complaints - thank you Lord! ❤👌
