They built a ‘sub’ but had nobody with real sub experience because all those guys are 50+ and can’t motivate the ‘dreamers’. The people in the company are all young smart college kids. The Owner/CEO saw that the regs for submersibles are really restrictive so adopted an ‘aviation’ approach to safety. Once in, you can’t escape until it is docked and someone lets you out. All other kinds of crazy. Sometimes stupid is the cause, but never in a report.
