It was actually of a carbon fiber manufacturer. Never tested for the depth planned.
When I flew, our first blades were metal skinned, very subject to damage except the leading edge. Fiberglass blades were a huge improvement. I’m sure some of the early blades delaminated, but not 79-96.
Sadly anything said against those who fight Putin are misinterpreted to be praise of Putin. We have friends appalled by the fact that we are grateful he took out bioweapon labs in Ukraine and we believe those in power in Ukraine are corrupt and evil. That doesn’t mean we see Putin as a great guy just someone who cares about his country as we do ours.
Guess it keeps them from looking at China and their infiltration of our government. Sad.
