Time at depth is the major factor in diving.
It wasn't an issue in our class since the deepest we dove was maybe 35 feet........
I would also add that it wasn't the nicest experience since the qualifying dive was I think in October and the rented dry suits were required.

A guy broke thru the ice in his pickup the Winter before and they located it that same day with side scan and the instructor went down and pulled the guy out of the truck and pulled him behind the boat to shore.
