“When I mow my lawn with the zero turn, itโs hilarious to watch them follow me around and catch all the fleeing insects.”
Geckos come out to catch insects when I work in the yard.

Late at night I would take 2 thousand pound bales of hay out to the pasture feeding racks. In the middle of the winter and a moon out it was amazingly scenic and isolated. As I would look behind (as you spend most of the view on a tractor), the rabbits ๐ by the dozens would flock to the crumbs and stems falling from the huge bales as they bounced along on my spike. By the time I had it loaded in the feeder and was on my way back, those rabbits would have every last speck of hay eaten and gone. They were like bunny sharks to chum.
The rabbits all winter in dens along the pasture rock wall divider piles and brush.
Everything in nature and in farming gets consumed. Everything. No exceptions.

The flying armada of barn swallows when cutting, side raking, and baling hay, is impressive.
Freshly tilled soil brings sandpipers for some reason? They just run along yelling at you.
