Oh and that other vaccine that was so “safe and effective”? What was it called again?

It’s not just me. It’s million of people. And studies are backing this.

I certainly remember fen-phen being pimped, then pulled...the ads for that stuff were all over talk radio in the 90s.

Just going Keto and fasting a couple of days a week will eliminate the need stick that stuff in you.

I began low-carb, "sort of" keto, two years ago and have lost 70 lbs. I don't think a full-on keto diet would be sustainable for me, but I'll take what I can get! (and it won't be Ozempic).

A lower carb, reasonable portions, real food diet and plenty of exercise is safer.

It is unrealistic for some to do it by diet alone. My husband is diabetic, but does not need to lose any weight. He already lost almost 100 pounds but still has high blood sugar even on insulin. He is on his third week of the starter dose of .25 Ozempic. His blood sugar is normal!

I realize there are exceptions.

There ALWAYS are.

But the vast majority of folks could much more safely get further ahead with diet and exercise, because I have known people who lost weight and their blood sugar did drop, almost
immediately.

I didn’t say it isn’t a valid effect. But like anything in health / medicine, different people are different, things are more complicated than a “one size fits everyone” approach, and individual factors substantially affect a given person’s treatment plan

Off-label usage.

Very common with many drugs. Often with time becomes common usage.

Easily and glibly stated.

Truth is some people just have too much against them including genetics.

And sometimes this strict diet isn’t practical - including trying to be a family sharing things rather than preparing dinner as separately, etc. lots of variables can make those diets hard.

That is if they work at all.

I am low carb....below 50g a day sometimes less, sometimes more but I have eaten very little bread, rice, pasta, cereal, deserts, or potatoes....I splurge once in a while but generally I'm low carb...

I would qualify for this injection but I think I'll just keep trying my best to eat better....

Pancreatitis is extraordinarily unpleasant.

Kidney stones, pancreatitis, child birth.

The unholy trio of excruciating pain.

My pharmacy has an F-ton of diabetocs on it who need it and can’t get it thanks to the fatties using it for weight loss. Same with Adderall and Phentermine in regards to those with ADD/ADHD.

After reading this, I feel fortunate that, when the Dr. prescribed it for me, and I found out it would cost me $1400 per month, I told him, “I’m not poor enough to get the stuff”.

My obvious meaning was that the poor (decision makers) get the drug for free, with schlubbs like me paying their fare.

It’s so wrong. It’s just a peptide that they slapped vitamin b12 into so they could patent it and make $$$. You can just use the peptide.

Well - it does require a prescription - “Ask your doctor if this crap is right for you...”
