99.9999999% of the population will wake up and say: "oh, it's juneteenth. the banks are closed. What's for breakfast?"

Kwanzaa? is that a city in Africa? WTF is a kwanza?

when do we celebrate "White People Day" or "Straight Pride Day"?

When I was in college & Kwanza was first being popularized. Some intrepid crusading student journalist (Don’t all of them think they are?) of the student newspaper contacted the embassies of several African countries and asked about Kwanza. He/she wanted to get the true authentic story about Kwanza. The actual story about it being made up by an Afro-American professor with a criminal record just had to be racist. None of the embassies had ever heard of it let alone celebrated it! He\she interpreted the embassies lack of knowledge of it as leftover racist oppression from colonial days.
