Republicans in Georgia have veto proof majorities in both house of the State Legislature and all cabinet positions, the only 2 democrats elected statewide are US Senators.
Trump endorsed primary challengers to both Kemp and Raffensberger and both lost badly, Kemp and Raffensberger went on and won comfortably in the general election, meanwhile Herschel lost.
If Trump had put forth any effort to get along with those two, the current US senate would be 51-49 Republican, which means Biden would have a much tougher time getting things done.
If you want to lose on principle, be prepared to never hold a majority again.
