He’s never been a persuader, or source of passionate leadership.
He leads because he’s there.
Few would follow him “into the breach”.
At rallys for our PDJT The GOAT there are regularly chants of “We love you!”.
Trumpeters will follow through . . .through fire, flood, and brimstone if necessary.
That’s what “Leaders” can create.
It’s now a Movement. MAGA isn’t about him, it’s about us.
Yeah, name-calling is presidential. “DeSancimonious”, “meatball”, “lyin’ Ted”, “sleazebag loser”, “dumb son a bitch”, “Coco Chao”. Likewise: calling your rival’s wife ugly and saying your rival father assassinated JFK. And now saying your rival has a small penis.
Trump lost the House in 2018 and lost the Senate and the Presidency in 2020. I guess he got tired of winning.
I will say about Trump, what he said about McCain, “I prefer politicians who win.”
As for following somebody “into the breach:” Trump was 4F during Viet Nam War and thus avoided the draft, and neither of his adult sons served in the military. DeSantis deployed to Iraq with the SEALs.
