Thanks in advance for any help. I used the counter on a video editor to measure the time from the spike to when Payton was struck. The counter says .06 seconds. That seems to short to me. Anyway...at .06 travel time, if my math is right, figures to 142mph. Way too fast. I think I'm off by 50%. 70mph seems more likely. Any help is appreciated.
Coed volleyball rules require a female to make one of the touches, if there are two or three. A male doesn’t have to touch it.
Players will switch positions during the play so that a female will set and a male will spike.
The ball travels faster than a player can react. Dangerous to be close to a spike.
I didn’t hit the ball particularly hard, and wasn’t good enough to control where it went. Broke someone’s bra when she was playing in the middle of the court and her blockers left a hole for me.
