There is also a chain of Versailles restaurants in the Los Angeles area. I ate at the one in West LA after attending a Trump rally in Beverly Hills and ordered arroz con pollo (rice with chicken).
The two eateries are probably not related. They are probably named for Versailles, a neighborhood in Matanzas, Cuba.
There is a particular table at the front of the Versailles in Little Havana that is the nerve center of the Cuban American political establishment. As large and as successful as the Cuban American diaspora is, in many ways, it functions almost like a small town.
