I agree. Pride, greed, wrath, envy, and lust can only explain a part of it.

Five or so years ago, I would have rejected the idea that there was a group of people responsible for endless wars to enrich themselves, create legions of displaced refugees, and kill for killing's sake.

Now, I believe they exist and that they are adherents to an ancient and abhorrent religion only gleaned from history books and the Old Testament.

yes me to. I thought it was a number of organizations years ago.
I rationalized "China, India and Russia must have organizational leadership separate from us..."

now i realize that isn't exactly true. They where rooted in the same fundamental organization that founded them thousands of years ago and held together by "a" religion and tradition. How closely tied today I don't know. This is why our real history of the word matters. We've been given a false story.
