“Class? Class, please. The term for the day is “break fast”. Can anyone tell me what that means?”

This works for me to lose 1-2 pounds per week. I eat one meal a day (OMAD) in the evening. I eat nuts and seeds for snacks morning and early afternoon. I have fasted and eaten OMAD, but I didn't lose more weight. The nuts and seeds are important to hit the fiber macro and keep things moving. They also are quite satisfying for me. The carb and fiber macros are the challenges to meet. Cal, fat, protein kind of fall in line if you hit the carb and fiber. This is pretty simple to follow once you've done it a few weeks. You learn what you can eat and what you like. If you have never eaten this few refined foods and carbs, you may experience withdrawal; a couple of days feeling hypoglycemic as your body switches from burning glucose back to the primal state of ketosis. Once you get to goal and are maintaining, you can turn carbs up to 40. Adjust carbs until you reach equilibrium. If your weight drifts up, turn the carbs back down to <20. This diet approach will prevent and resolve many metabolic issues. Cal: 1,800 Protein: ~120g Carbs: <20g Fat: >120g Fiber: >20g
