His draft number is not the issue. He could have chosen to volunteer after he completed his education - he didn’t. Whatever you think of DeSantis - he did choose to volunteer.

Oh for Christ's sake, condemn everyone then who chose not to enlist during the Vietnam War, but got an education instead, whether they had a high draft number or not.
