To End Anti-Trump Deep-State, Two-Tiered Tyranny, Support Governor DeSantis
Townhall ^ | June 12, 2023 | Arthur Schaper

Posted on 06/12/2023 1:05:30 PM PDT by Golden Eagle

President Trump is in the news again (which isn’t news, for what it’s worth). He was sued by some crazy Karen over sexual misconduct allegations. While the jury ruled that he hadn’t done anything wrong, they still found him civilly liable. Kangaroo court, anyone?

Soros-backed prosecutor Alvin Bragg is persecuting Trump in relation to some hush-money agreement with Stormy “Horseface” Daniels. This case has no legs, no merit, and even Daniels herself regrets pursuing Trump. The trial will take place in the midst of primary season. Political? Absolutely. Bragg even bragged about going after Trump as one of his campaign promises!

And now, Trump has been indicted on numerous federal counts for mishandling classified documents. The double standard is unmistakable. Joe Biden unlawfully took classified documents following his vice presidency. During her tenure, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton illegally deleted thousands of official emails. A Two-tiered justice system looms over us.

Every one of us should be outraged about the persecution of President Trump: Democrat, Republican, I don’t care where you land on the political spectrum. We are witnessing Banana Republic corruption and tyranny right before our eyes, the full weaponization of our federal justice system, and the corrupt corporate media is all in on fostering fraud. If not for the federalist diffusion of state governments, I would fear all the more for every American.

Yes, Trump is getting screwed over, and all of us should be beyond outraged about this. Not afraid, but angry, but someone has to do something about this in the next Presidency. For this reason, I am supporting Governor Ron DeSantis for President.

Trump cannot fix this problem because he didn’t when he had the chance...

Trump does not deserve to be persecuted....However, Trump doesn’t deserve to be President, either.

Mr. Ultra Conservative I rarely make demeaning commentary about a commenter, but your Trump Derangement Syndrome is testing me.

Do you NOT understand the CONTENT of my post?

Can you read?

The question that I RAISED was an offer to resign BEFORE his RECUSAL.

Sessions NEVER even informed Trump of his RECUSAL let alone offered to resign.

Sessions RECUSED himself on March 2nd.

Department of Justice
Office of Public Affairs
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, March 2, 2017
Attorney General Sessions Statement on Recusal

Mr. Ultra Conservative you are linking to a Boston Globe article written by left wing LOONEY Maggie Haberman in which she is crying crocodile tears for Trump’s treatment of Jeff Sessions.

But it has NOTHING to do with my comment.

It talks about an offer to resign and a resignation letter written in May not in March.

Trump was ANGRY at Sessions and he had every right to be.

Sessions BETRAYED him and STABBED him the back by NOT doing the HONORABLE thing of informing him of his RECUSAL before the RECUSAL.

Little Beauregard was lucky all Trump did was verbally berated him.

If it were me, I would have laid hands on the little bugger.

I agree with you that Sessions was a Judas of his time. Nowhere did I dispute that. My issue is that Trump did nothing to correct the situation. Even after Sessions offered to resign, Trump refused to accept it. Yet, somehow to you, only Sessions is to blame. You are clearly blind to Trump’s transgressions. As was I at one point.

But Trump was clearly the greater entity in your story. He appointed Sessions, else Sessions doesn’t even exist in this context. Then, Trump left him there in power when he had ample opportunity to rectify the problem. Yet you somehow still can only focus your disgust on Sessions. Take the blinders off. See the whole picture. And the root of the problems.

DeSweatis needs to do the right thing, and, drop out of the race, keep his promises to Floridians, and, endorse RPOTUS Trump.

We know he won’t do the right thing, though.

A question was asked in my original post.

You blame Trump for nominating Sessions as if Trump should have known what no one seemed to know about Sessions.

Are you telling me that not just as some run of the mill conservative but a chest beating ULTRA conservative that you are on the record as not cheering Trump’s nomination of Sessions and were opposed to it?

I know of NO conservative either run of the mill or a chest beating ULTRA conservative who was not in favor of Sessions as AG.

If you can direct me to some evidence of your prescience then I will be truly impressed with your insights.

As it is, you are embarrassing your ULTRA conservative bonafides not having the imagination to make a case against Trump on your own.

The link that you posted in your attack of Trump was a New York Times liberal hit piece crying crocodile tears for Sessions who they had eviscerated at every opportunity before they found it convenient to make him out the victim in order to trash Trump.

You can bash Trump if you want, but you can’t use the New York Times to do it and still hold claim to your tagline of the Ultra Conservative.

Surely you can do better than relying on Maggie Hagerman of the New York Times to do your bidding.

I’m pretty sure I wanted Giuliani for AG at the time, and said so here. I remember being mad at Sessions because rumors were he wanted to be named Secretary of Defense, which I thought was ridiculous.

Bottom line it became apparent quickly that Sessions was a bad choice for AG, but not only did Trump not fire him, Trump even refused to accept the letter of resignation from Sessions when he tried to resign!

No amount of your attempts at distraction can take that away.

I’m pretty sure I wanted Giuliani for AG at the time, and said so here.

Then I’m sure you took a lot of heat for supporting Giuliani.

The mere mention of Giuliani on conservative boards like this one brought derision as Giuliani was seen as a New York liberal who favored abortion and gay rights.

Supporting Giuliani for any post, particularly AG would have brought the heat from conservatives, particularly if the poster had the tagline Ultra Conservative.

No, I didn’t take any grief for supporting Giuliani for AG, which is who most people here wanted if I remember correctly. The second favorite was Cruz, not Sessions. Giuliani is generally loved here now, too, especially since he represented Trump in the 2020 election fiasco. Show me some posts of others criticizing him here, starting with yourself. I’ve probably been harder on him since 2020 than anyone else you’ll find, but he still would have been a better AG than Sessions was.

I GUARANTEE Cruz was not the second favorite among those who backed Trump from the beginning.

Among those of us like myself who were with Trump the moment he made his speech declaring his candidacy, Cruz’s name was mud.

Cruz was dead to me, when Trump gave him the time to speak in prime time at the convention and he didn’t use the time to endorse Trump.

And Ronbots who are mostly evolved Cruzbots criticize Trump for being petty.

One man can do very little.

If one man can't do much, then why does it matter who becomes President at all? Why do we bother to have elections if the President is just a figurehead?

“My “cult leader” accomplished things on a national level. Yours has accomplished Nada on the national level and you worship him like a teenage girl.”

You’re a Cultist, just admit it. Normal Republicans don’t worship like cultists. We make informed decisions from good information.

1. Trump can’t win
2. DeSantis has a chance to win against weak SlowJoe, the man Trump couldn’t beat.

“if we cannot get Putin to drop a Tsar Bomba on DC and Fairfax County VA, sending Trump back is the next best thing for that trash place.”

I feel that way, too, but in his first term he was terrified of the eGOP letting the democraps impeach him and removing him from office. Will he stand up to it in a second term? The eGOP will no doubt threaten to impeach him if he makes his own decisions like appointing a special prosecutor against the democraps.
