It boils down to simply this-—
-—Bad news: 54% of all marriages end up in divorce. 46% of Christian marriages end up in divorce.
—Good news: Only 1 in 1,596 marriages end up in divorce when the husband and wife pray/read their Bibles TOGETHER daily.
1. The people who have sex the most frequently are the people who are married, Christian, and attend church regularly.
2. The people who reporting being happiest with the sex lives are the people who are --- guess --- married, Christian, and attend church regularly.
3. The women who reporting experiencing the Big O the most frequently are the women who are --- wait for it --- married, Christian, and attend church regularly.
I wonder how many divorces there are because the realities of marriage and living together do not meet people’s expectations of how life would be?
People joke about arguments over leaving the cap off the toothpaste tube or how toilet paper hangs, but there are real issues which cause conflict.
For example, if one person wants to save for a rainy day and the other one doesn’t give a damn about running up credit card bills, there will be conflict. If the wife feels she is doing most of the housework, she gets pissed off. And her being in a bad mood affects other aspects of the relationship.
About those divorces, those people who marry and divorce many times greatly bring up those averages.
I think the marriage/divorce percentages should be broken down by “repeat” offenders. That is, how many second and third marriages end in divorce? I argue that many one timers, who enter the marriage believing it’s a one time thing, are a pretty high proportion of the entire group.
