Holy shit. I actually had a few fun exchanges with him. I thought he might carry on the Laz Bizarre Sense of Humor when *I* passed on.
RIP bagster.

My heart aches at the news about Bagster. It doesn’t seem possible to truly miss someone I knew only through the written word but, after reading his posts for so many years, I know I will definitely miss him.
Michael Bagwell was a very good father, grandfather, friend, patriot and man, and his absence will be felt here for as long as the people on Free Republic exist. My most sincere condolences are extended to his family and friends.

It’s very fitting that
Bagster’s name is Michael...
he fought like an Archangel.
We sure will miss him but
I have no doubt that
he is still in the fight.
Eternal rest grant unto Michael O Lord and
let perpetual light shine upon him
may Michael’s soul and all the souls of
the faithfully departed
through the Mercy of God
rest in peace.

Thanks for posting this, ransomnote.
He will truly be missed by most everyone on FR, including myself obviously.
He stood his ground as any man should, took no gruff from trolls, and shared great wit and wisdom while doing so.
Rest in Peace, Michael Bagwell!

If they were smart, they would have accepted and got a notary public then and there.
He wasn’t lying when he said he was handsome! I was fortunate he called me once. Awesome.

Thank you ransomnote. A lot of us are up in years and our relationships are what brings final meaning to our moments of existence. You gave a beautiful reflection of the diamond that was your friendship. It is humbling and a privilege to have you share this with us. May you be blessed and Christ give you comfort.
