I think it’s the number of anti-trump and rude and obnoxious behavior of some recent constant posters.
Posts that contain nothin but name calling used to be frowned upon.
Now, if you make a contrary point, you are subject to “HA you’re another Putin lover LOL ROTFLAMAO”. A response that contains no rebuttal or counter-point, just calls someone a name for disagreeing with some one else, and then cackling like an idiot.
The intelligence of the discussions has dropped considerably because of that.
And the moderators seem to let them continue without warning.
FReepers are older and racked with medical bills, the big idea people have left, or were purged is my guess.
For me, I am older and have bills that leave me with very little money to donate. Medical takes precedence, or I would give every quarter. This place is really good, it can be great again. Here is hoping.
